Udupi, Aug 18: Udupi district Mahila Congress organized condolences meet held at Clock Tower, near Service Bus stand with burning candles on memory of death of 79 children died at Baba Raghavadas Government Hospital, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh recently.

Addressing to the Condolences meet, Veronica Cornelio, District Mahaila Congress President and Secretary of State Congress Committee, said "We regret that the incident is held a constituency of Yogi Adithyanath, Chief Minister of UP. This shows that it was due to negligence of the state government. The Mahila congress of the district strongly regrets silenceof BJP leadersin the incident including the Prime Minister."

Amrith Shenoy, Congress leader and member of Mangalore University Senate said that the cruel incident brought severe pain for us even though the country is proceeding towards technological development. Amith Shah and Narendra Modi, the great leaders are thinking the life of people cheaply with the example of this cruel incident. 

During the condolence silent meet, Meenakshi Madhav Bannenje, CMC President, Sandhya Tilk Raj Vice President of CMC, CMC councilors Celine Karkada, Shobha, Janardhan Bhandarkar, Mahila Congress General Secretary Dr. Suneetha Shetty, Block Congress president Mamatha Shetty, Jyothi Hebbar, Roshni Oliveira, Sarala kanchan, Geetha Wagle, Sujatha Acharya, Gopi Naik, Mary D’Souza and other among were present.
