Udupi August 27: A young couple from Gadaga (North Karnataka) contemplating to commit suicide was led to a happy ending as both tied knot amidst all odds.

Mr. Vishu Kumara Shetty a well know social worker from Udupi who was responsible for the happy ending exclusively spoke to KonkanConnect.com reporter Trapthi and narrated the whole incident.

A 25 years old young lad Basava from Gadaga who has been working in Udupi since 10 years as home laborer. Basava fell in love with a beautiful young lady Lalitha who is just 20 years from his home town Gadada. It is been a year since they are in love and have been in contact ever since. The couple have loved each one deeply and wanted to live a life together as husband and wife.

It all started when Lalitha’s family wanted to marry her off to another boy which she refused and confessed her love for Basava but her family rejected that outright.

On 12th August 2015 Lalitha joined Basava in Udupi and they both decided to end their life as they could not see the light at the end of the tunnel but as God had some other plan in store for them as Basava’s owner Jadgdeesh intervened in the situation and informed Vishu Kumara Shetty (social worker) of their plight.

Mr.Vishu Shetty met the couple and promised them that they will get married after 15 days with their families consent and told them never think of giving up life because when god has brought you together no man can separate you.

As promised Mr. Vishu Kumar Shetty, today on 27 August 2015 fulfilled the dreams of two young lives and helped them tie the knot and made them husband and wife at Mrs. Ramesh Bhat Koodvooru House, Madhya Nagar, Udupi.
