Sun, Sand & the Sea! Yes, it is that time of the year when the visibility of water is simply fabulous! What do you do with such great visibility? SCUBA dive. Join Adivaas in their expedition to Netrani Islands for Discover Scuba Diving Experience (beginners) or Fun Dives (certified divers).
Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory dive experience is a one day program designed for people wanting to try their first scuba dive. Swimming skill is desirable but NOT essential for this program, and anyone over the age of 10 can participate as long as they are not afraid of being in water. As long as your are reasonably fit, you can go diving.
Your day starts with a short briefing explaining the principles of diving and your equipment, followed by a boat ride to the island (about an hour and 20 mins). At the dive site, you will learn some basic skills and get comfortable with the dive gear in shallow water. Once your skills are done, you will go for your dive. The dive instructor is with you during the dive, holding on to your tank, so you are always under close, direct supervision of a dive professional. You are NEVER alone underwater.
The dives can be up to 12 m deep, though usually between 6-10 m. The dive time is 30-40 mins, it could be more or less depending on how you breathe and your comfort level. We start at 7:00 am and finish by around 4:30 pm.
